Landsknecht Emporium – Sigmund 2.0 Blunt Practice Rondel Dagger

The Sigmund Rondel from Landsknecht Emporium is purpose-built for martial arts training and sparring and ideal for practicing and mastering the techniques for dagger fighting and grappling with a dagger. For a training tool it has quite a lot more craftsmanship and style than is usually seen for the category with essentially the same level of care and quality seen in Landsknecht Emporium’s other offerings being seen here in regards to blade quality, tempering and overall construction and it takes its design and general dimensions directly from historical originals. The rigid blade is thick, blunted and rebated at the tip for safety; exceptionally durable, the blade could withstand substantial leverage as seen in the techniques for dagger and grappling combat demonstrated in historical manuscripts. The polished grip is crafted from hardwood and the rondels are cast brass. The blade tang is secured with a peen over a brass “peen block”.
