This powder horn is crafted from a polished cow horn with a brass-pinned cap of carved wood and a leather hanging strap. Your powder is contained in the horn by pouring it into the horn after removing the small wooden end-plug. The horn then acts as a natural funnel for your powder when needed for your firearm. It is a good idea to periodically wipe down the exterior of the powder horn with a light coating of vegetable oil to prevent dryness and cracking.
